Meet Anya

Anya Woolliams, MOst PGCert

Osteopath & Sports Massage Therapist

(Adult, Canine & Equine)

Hi. I'm Anya. I work from the clinic space on Fridays & Saturdays. I have experience treating chronic pain patients through community based GP referrals at CORE (Centre for Osteopathic Research and Excellence), a charity typically working with patients presenting with complex health conditions like fibromyalgia.

I qualified as an osteopath from the University College of Osteopaths (UCO, formally the BSO) where I also gained experience treating in community clinics including the Ian Charleson clinic at the Royal Free Hospital.

I believe in a patient-centred approach and recognise the importance of treating the patient as a whole, to have the best impact on their health, interested in instigating long lasting healthy habit changes and boosting wellness, decision making being mutually agreed and goal setting found and met collaboratively.

I see a value in keeping uptodate with the latest evidence based research to provide the best care, rehab and advice for patients.

In my spare time I actively participate in regular sport and am a keen runner and triathlete.

I've been having osteopathy treatment with Anya for a couple of months. Anya is incredibly knowledgeable and takes the time to understand individual circumstances and needs, explaining everything in a really clear way. I always leave a treatment feeling so much better, and I appreciate the thorough follow up treatment plans. I've seen several osteopaths elsewhere before and I think Anya is the best I've seen. Highly recommend.
